This policy explains what information ArtysyPicks ("we", "us") collects when you visit or buy from thefocusos.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Short version: we collect what's needed to sell you a planner and email you about it. We don't sell your personal information.

What we collect

When you buy something

  • Name and email address
  • Billing address
  • Payment confirmation details

We do not see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and, if you choose it, PayPal. Your card details go directly to them and never touch our systems.

When you join our email list

  • Your email address, and your first name if you give it
  • Which emails you open and click

When you visit the site

  • Standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and which pages you view
  • Cookie data (see below)

When you email us

  • Whatever you write to us, so we can help you and keep a record of the conversation

Why we collect it

  • Deliver your files and confirm your order — using your name, email, and order details
  • Customer support and re-delivery — using your email and order history
  • Send emails you signed up for — using your email address and engagement data
  • Recover abandoned checkouts — using the email address entered at checkout
  • Keep the store working and secure — using technical and cookie data
  • Understand what's useful on the site — using aggregated analytics
  • Meet tax and accounting obligations — using order records

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who need it to run the store, and only for that purpose:

  • Shopify — our store platform; hosts the site and processes orders
  • Shopify Payments / PayPal / Shop Pay — payment processing

We may also disclose information if legally required to, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information. Under some state laws, sharing data with advertising platforms for targeted ads can count as "selling" or "sharing" — if we ever run such advertising, this policy will be updated to say so plainly, and you'll be able to opt out.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may stop working properly if you do.

Where required by law, you'll see a cookie banner giving you a choice about non-essential cookies.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: 7 years, for tax and accounting purposes
  • Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we don't accidentally email you again
  • Support emails: 2 years
  • Analytics: typically 26 months, depending on the provider

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you
  • Access a copy of it
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete it (note: we may need to keep order records for tax purposes)
  • Opt out of marketing emails — every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately
  • Opt out of targeted advertising or any "sale" or "sharing" of your data
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of them, email artsyau@gmail.com. We'll respond within the timeframe our law requires — generally 45 days — and we may need to verify your identity first, usually by confirming the email address on your order.

Children

This store isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Where your information is handled

We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process and store data there and in other countries. Data protection laws vary between countries and may be less protective than those where you live.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change, and we'll revise the "last updated" date. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated by email where we reasonably can.
